The art of eating

Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine has no limits: neither does our love for cooking. We will worship the good product and its fair handling.

Our kitchen is clean and honest. A fresh and contemporary cuisine without eccentricities, which requires a lot of dedication and sensitivity. In simplicity lies exceptionality.

Own and traditional preparations adapted to the times. A cuisine straddling the old and the new world. Strictly classic dishes, timeless and others completely evolved.

COD FISH AS THE DRIVER OF OUR CUISINE: either with a salad, “esqueixat”, “a la llauna”, with ratatouille or Pil Pil sauce. At L’Olivé you can breathe cod. Rice, lamb brains, beans, escalivada or our free range chicken cannelloni complement our classics. 

The season does the rest, the season consist in daily suggestions. Porcini, local mushrooms, green peppers, “Trinxat de la Cerdanya”, “calçots”, sardines, seasonal squid, local lobster, monkfish, or a good tomato salad among many others. Olivé is PRODUCT in capital letters and PRODUCT only needs respect and judgment.

It is difficult to understand a good meal without a good bottle of wine. Curiosity, desire, expectations… reduced in a bottle. The service presents it and all these emotions come together in that moment. Indeed, MOMENTS… Unique moments, often unrepeatable thanks to the art of uncorking, the art of sharing. That day, with that dish, with that person and that conversation. And that song was playing in the background… We have many wines, they will never run out, the last glass is always the best. ENJOY

L’Olivé offers wines from honest producers, deeply linked to the territory. Minimum intervention wines where most of the work is done in the vineyard. Clean wines that transmit the authenticity of the territory.
